Cape Town doesn't just impress you. It gets inside you.
There are cities you visit. Then there are cities that change your idea of what a city can be. Cape Town is the second kind. Mountains that drop straight into the ocean. Wine estates an hour from the beach. A coastline so dramatic it looks composed. Six days here won't be enough — but you will leave a different person.
Tuesday, 24 November
Kenya Airways carries you out of Entebbe in the early hours, connects through Nairobi, and lands you in Cape Town by 1:35pm. The mountain greets you before you've even left the arrivals hall — Table Mountain, flat-topped and extraordinary, visible from almost everywhere in the city.
Flights: Entebbe (03:50) → Nairobi (05:05) → Cape Town (13:35)
A private transfer takes you straight to SunSquare Cape Town City Bowl — your four-star home for the next five nights, perfectly positioned in the heart of the city with everything within reach. Check in, walk outside, and let Cape Town begin.
Wednesday, 25 November
Some cities are best understood from ground level. Cape Town is not one of them.
Your full-day city tour begins with guided exploration of Cape Town's most iconic streets, neighbourhoods and landmarks — history, culture and architecture woven together in a city that carries centuries in its bones.
Then the cable car takes you up.
At the summit of Table Mountain, the entire city unfolds beneath you — the Atlantic on one side, the Indian Ocean on the other, the Cape Peninsula stretching south into the distance like a finger pointing toward Antarctica. The views are not merely beautiful. They are the kind that reset something in you.
Come down slower than you went up. The city looks different now.
Thursday, 26 November
Today you drive one of the most breathtaking coastal routes on earth.
Your full-day Cape Peninsula tour takes you south along the Atlantic seaboard, past white-sand beaches and fishing villages clinging to cliffsides. The route winds through Chapman's Peak — a mountain road carved into sheer rock face above the ocean, where every corner reveals something more extraordinary than the last.
At the tip of the peninsula: Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Standing here, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, at the southernmost tip of the African continent, you'll feel something difficult to name. Ancient. Significant. The kind of moment that reminds you why you travel.
The drive home, as the light changes over the water, is its own reward.
Friday, 27 November
Cape Town has more than one side. Today you meet two of them.
The morning belongs to the wine estates. You board the Wine Tram — a guided tram ride through some of the Cape Winelands' most celebrated vineyards, stopping to taste wines that have been winning international awards for decades. Lunch is served among the vines, unhurried and delicious.
Then the afternoon delivers a different kind of rush entirely.
Quad biking through open, desert-style terrain — off-road, guided, and exhilarating. An hour of dust and speed and pure outdoor joy that makes an excellent contrast to the morning's elegance.
Wine and quad bikes. Cape Town contains multitudes.
✦ Lunch included (Wine Tram)
Saturday, 28 November
You've seen Cape Town from the top of its mountain. Today you see it from the sea.
A luxury sunset cruise takes you out onto the Atlantic, champagne in hand, as the afternoon light does extraordinary things to the city behind you. Table Mountain. The Twelve Apostles range. The V&A Waterfront gleaming in the golden hour. From the water, it all comes together — and you'll understand, finally, why people who visit Cape Town always end up coming back.
The sun sets. The champagne continues. The evening is entirely yours.
Sunday, 29 November
A final breakfast with Table Mountain out the window. A last walk through the City Bowl. Then your transfer takes you to the airport, and Kenya Airways carries you north — back through Nairobi, back to Entebbe, arriving home in the early hours of Monday morning.
Flights: Cape Town (14:25) → Nairobi (22:10) → Entebbe (02:10)
You'll arrive home tired in the best possible way. Full. Grateful. Already looking at the calendar.
